Stories as diverse as those of Raja Bharat and Gandhiji, another from Panchatantra, yet another from the Mahabharat and finally one of the wittily brilliant Tenali Ram enlightened them and further, the “morals” were not transmitted to them, rather drawn out from them .
Many organizations of repute consider Experiential learning for their Leaders and Managers – the reasons being numerous. Leadership is not a classroom discussion, but a contact sport, and an intensive one, at that, hence the need for “practice”. By definition itself, experiential learning is a wholesome educational experience through total personal involvement.
As various earlier articles have amply shown, there is far more to Rakhasas than their diverse and hideous forms. While as Children, we may have enjoyed simply listening to the stories of the slaying of Daanavs by Dev or Devis, one’s growing up should also entail the maturity to decode the messages hidden within these stories and treat them as guidelines for Living.
