Chiranjeev Gurukul Community
Chiranjeev Gurukul Community was established in March 2022. It is focused towards creating positive changes towards the various dimensions of the society culminating into a larger transformation – A New Prosperous World. A number of students of Chiranjeev Gurukul have started contributing to community projects such as the Shaala project which is focused on non commercial and commercial offerings in the space of bringing holistic education in the space of Indian Wisdom to children and the Vriddhasanyog Scheme which is a Mentoring program.
As part of community work there are connections being made with the leaders at the grassroot level and their amazing contribution to society such as Popat Rao Pawar, Anna Hazare and Mrs Rahibai Popare the Seed Mother.
Below are some of the objectives for the community:
- To build a sense of community amongst the Chiranjeev Gurukul members having the skills to work with others (projects that involve teamwork, study groups, social events, and service-learning).
- To promote member engagement and active learning (collaborative and cooperative learning, use of discussion groups, inquiry-based fieldwork).
- To Foster deeper learning by assignments, activities and projects.
- Reflection and assessment (use of self-evaluation, reflective journals).
- To cultivate diversity within the learning community (using strategies of inclusion that support diverse ways of learning, representing diversity in the curriculum content)
