Maadhyamik – Advanced Principles and Tools of Leadership Prosperity Through Kautilya Arthashaastra
Kautilya, or Chanakya, as he is commonly known, created the Science of Prosperity – Kautilya
Arthashaastra, his magnum opus in 300 BC. Based on the work done by the Purvacharyaas (earlier
teachers of the subject), this Arthashaastra became the most updated and comprehensive text to be
ever written, with the purpose of creating a prosperous nation. At its heart, is the Swami/ Swamini, or
the Leader, who is the enabler of this prosperity – not just for one’s family or employees, but for society at large. The Arthashaastra can be lovingly called as Earth Shaastra – the way to create sustained happiness on this planet.
The objective of this course/subject is, to learn and apply all the key principles of the Kautilya Arthashaastra, in a most practical and engaging way. Participants can take this learning for application to business, education, society, and more. In addition to Kautilya Arthashaastra, we shall also use the wisdom of the texts inspired by it viz. Panchatantra and Hitopadesh.
Prosperity through Kautilya Arthashaastra therefore, would be a blend of –
1. Concepts from Kautilya Arthashaastra
2. Interactive sessions – Activities, Case studies, illustrations
3. Introspection through Stories and Sutras of Panchatantra and Hitopadesh
4. Learning through Chanakya serial clips
5. Projects – There will be action projects to reinforce the learning
6. Swaadhyaay – Questions for deeper understanding of Self – through daily self reflection for crafting
a plan of their own transformational journey
