The Mentors

Anupama Ramteke

Anupama is a Learning & Development professional with over 13 yrs of experience in leadership & women development. She is a creative, self-driven and performance-oriented individual with a deep passion for developing people, business and the nation.
She’s the Director & Co-founder of BeMahika Tech Pvt. Ltd. (Mahika) – India’s first integrated digital learning & placement platform exclusively for women that leverages technology to improve women employability and diversity at workplace. She’s on a mission to lead women towards financial independence.
Prior to Mahika, Anupama headed the Organization Development vertical at Infinx Healthcare, a Tandon Group company. Her role involved optimizing the performance of people and processes through effective OD interventions, resulting in the development of over 200 mid to senior-level leaders and about 30 women managers.
She’s the Founding Member & Co-learner at Living Philosophy Study Group – a group dedicated towards studying & researching timeless Indian Wisdom, viz. Kautilya Arthashastra and its significance & application in modern management. She’s also a Leadership Mentor for industry professionals at Chiranjeev Gurukul and Jombay.
In her entire career of 13 years, Anupama had the opportunity to meet & work closely with some great leaders in the country like Padma Vibhushan Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, Padma Bhushan Anna Hazare, Ex Dy. Governor of RBI Usha Thorat, Member of Parliament Supriya Sule, Padma Shri Chandraprakash Dwivedi (Chanakya fame), Padma Shri Popatrao Pawar (Hiware Bazar), Padma Shri Rahibai Popere (Seed Mother) and many more.
Anupama has been recognised as “Top 10 Women Leaders in e-Learning” in 2022 by Women Entrepreneur India and “Top 100 HR Leaders Under 40” in 2019 by Jombay for her work towards women & leadership development. She was also interviewed by RJ Kedar Joshi on Radio City 91.9 FM in March 2022 for her ongoing work at Mahika.
She has served as the Director of Rotary Club of Mumbai Kalakar in the past and continues to collaborate with organizations such as Robinhood Army, DaanUtsav, Yuva Parivartan and Antarang Foundation in supporting and uplifting the underprivileged communities.
Anupama is an IT graduate from Mumbai University and holds two masters degrees, one being MBA in Hospitality Management from IHTM and other being Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from NMIMS University, along with a Certification in Organization Development Analysis from Middle Earth HR. She is currently pursuing a Certification in Technology Entrepreneurship from Harvardx.
Anupama is an ardent traveller and has been a great advocate of Indian tourism. She is trained in Bharatnatyam and Indian classical singing and has performed at numerous events in the past. Her passion towards singing inspired her to create Jhankar Musicals, a community of thousands of aspiring singers, musicians, and music enthusiasts.
She is incredibly grateful to her parents, friends, teachers and mentors for their invaluable guidance and support in her personal and professional journey.

Tejal is a consultant, coach, facilitator, and a certified Yog Instructor.

She has 15 years of corporate HR + Learning & Development experience in her total work experience of 19 years. Her last corporate assignment was with Capri Global Capital Limited as Deputy Vice President – HR.

Tejal has been associated with Chanakya Consulting Insights for the last 3 years. The company has been helping organizations transform through integration and adaptation of timeless principles from Kautilya Arthashaastra & Indian wisdom.

She has experience working with businesses in Financial Services, Information Technology, Staffing and Education. Throughout her career, Tejal has been a resourceful leader with an excellent ability to motivate others and communicate effectively at all levels.

She has been studying Arthashaastra, Yog Philosophy and Indian Wisdom for more than 3 years.

Sujata Nerurkar

An Engineering and Management student, Sujata found her calling in the domain of Yog. She has committed more than two decades to Yog. Her immense experience of 12 years in the corporate sector gives her the unique capability to be logical and process-oriented in running the organisation, while her passion for Yog combined with a flair for teaching has taken her students beyond the limits of Asana techniques. As a student of Yog since 1998, Sujata believes there are many approaches to teaching Yoga. Her learning has been diverse and deep due to the multiple teachers she has had. Since 2006, Sujata has trained about 600+ teachers. She keeps a keen interest in understanding and sharing the wisdom of Yog sutra. She believes in the art of harmonious living.

Sujata is also a trained psychological counsellor and conducts one-on-one counselling sessions. She has also worked with the suicide prevention programme through Connecting, a Pune-based NGO, helping people in emotional distress. In doing so, she uses her expertise in the mind management aspect of Yog, REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Non-violent communication.

Sujata’s passion for Yoga is apparent through her students’ progress in asanas and their personalities. Indeed, she derives smiles from her students’ eureka moments – physical, mental, and emotional.

Shrijith Ravindran

Shrijith Ravindran is the dynamic CEO of Malaka Spice, who has been an integral part of the company for over 20 years.

He started as a steward while pursuing his education in Hotel Management and has risen through the ranks to become the CEO, playing a pivotal role in shaping the success of Malaka Spice.

Throughout the past two decades, Shrijith has been instrumental in every significant step that the company has taken. He led the expansion of Malaka Spice from a small setup to a prominent restaurant in Koregaon Park, Pune. Additionally, he played a key role in launching the first franchise and expanding the business nationwide.

Shrijith’s business strategies have helped to improve the company’s bottom line significantly, making him an admired figure in the organisation.

Today, along with being the CEO, Shrijith is also the owner of One China restaurant, the Chinese cuisine brand launched by House of Malaka Spice and runs it as a profitable setup in Pimple Saudagar area of Pune. He has played a vital role in the launch of Chiranjeev Gurukul and he truly believes in the learnings of Arthashashtra by applying them in his personal as well as professional life.

He is also known for his passion for sports, especially football, and his love for travel. He is also a Marathon Runner and has completed several 10kms and 21 Kms Races.  In 2001, he was part of the team that won the Limca Book of Awards for baking the biggest pizza in India, showcasing his dedication and enthusiasm in all aspects of his life.

Ophealia is a retired hotelier, coach, mentor and a thorough HR professional learning and imbibing the best of different cultures. Her core skills lie in building customer-centric, culture-building organisations that focus on personal growth, transition management, and quality management.

She has been a mentor and coach to many young people.

She finds her 3yr internship at ISISD (Indian Society for Individual and Social Development) in human process labs enormously transformative.

She is an energy healer and feels closely connected with energy science. She has done her training in collaboration, co-holding and inclusivity.

At TISS, she headed the Department of Family and Child Welfare for 12 years, initiated and led the Centre for Disability Studies at TISS for two years and served as the Deputy Director (Pro Vice-Chancellor) of the Institute for five years. Post-retirement, Prof. Kashyap was associated with the Institute as an Emeritus Professor for three years. After her retirement, she moved to Talegaon, near Pune, and has been providing her honorary services to a local school.

Linaji’s enthusiasm for learning did not stop even after retirement. She immersed herself in studies of Arthashaastra and Indian Wisdom. Pranic, Reiki and TM level 2. She is a storyteller who enjoys narrating stories from worldwide mythology, parables, and fairy tales to get across the learnings. She is in the process of compiling a book of her own spiritual experiences.

She is a firm believer in Eternal Indian Wisdom and the principle of – Co-dependency.

Professor Lina D. Kashyap (PhD) is a social work educator. In 2013, she retired from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), a renowned Deemed University in Mumbai, India, after a career in social work spanning almost five decades.
